Masimba hills Safaris is a registered tour operating company recognized by the Ministry of Tourism based in Nairobi, Kenya with our head office on Mombasa Road. Masimba Hills Safaris is a Member in Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO) in Kenya, we are affiliated to Women In Tourism Alliance International (WITIA), Kenya Association of Women in Tourism (KAWT).

We have a dedicated team of highly experienced staff committed to providing high level of customer satisfaction. We have our own highly trained Safari Guides and Tour Consultants.  Masimba Hills Safaris is an initiative by a Female (woman) Tour Operator with a  need to provide to women lone travelers.

Safari Briefing

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our representative who will also introduce your driver guide. The guide will brief you on what to expect while on the safari and provide any further information you may require. Throughout the safari, you will be in a company of a professional driver guide

 Driver Guides

The success of every safari depends on the guide and in our safaris, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional tour guide will ensure you experience the best of your Africa safari. Our guides have depth knowledge of routes, local attractions and practical mechanics. In addition they are highly proficient in the identification of the animals and birds of Kenya.
Whilst the guide will do his best to ensure that you see a diverse range and good quantity of wildlife that inhabits the area, it is important to appreciate that guides must follow Concession, Reserve or National Park rules and that they are also sensitive to the needs of the animals.

 Transport

Masimba Hills Safaris operates its own transport with 4x4 Toyota landcruisers/jeeps with all security features and measures put in place to ensure comfort in the rough terrains. (see our Car Hire Section)

For all safaris, game viewing is in a customized 4 x 4 safari van or land cruiser. All guests are seated to face forward and have a window seat. The vehicles have a pop up roof for easy game viewing and photography and are also fitted with High range frequency radio for communication and a Vehicle Tracking System for your safety and easy location. In addition they are also equipped with cooler-boxes and first aid kits, as well as wildlife reference books.
